Journey To The End Of The Week

July 29, 2006

It’s been almost a week and my bonsai trees are still alive and well (as far as I can tell anyway). As yet I’ve been unable to identify either of them. I did Google image searches on all the different species listed on the back of the information cards that came with them, but nothing that came up resembled the either of the two trees that I have. I wonder if they’re really bonsais. Knowing my luck with Kroger and its underhanded trickery, somebody probably just dug up some weeds and I bought them for $12 each.

July 25, 2006

After an exciting weekend full of laundry and haircuts at home, I headed back to Cincinnati. On the way back I stopped at Kroger to pick up some groceries. Kroger visits are usually times of either intense joy or intense pain for me. 90% of the things I buy come from the produce section, and often times the quality of that department in a Kroger is hit or miss. July 17, 2006

I had a fairly interesting dream last night and since I haven’t had a good one to write down in quite some time, I figured I’d share it. And just as a warning, I generally censor myself and life when I write it down here, but in order to preserve the authenticity of the dream, I wrote this candidly.

July 15, 2006

I can’t believe that it’s been almost a week since I last updated. And a lot has happened too. I guess I just haven’t had any time to write. I spent nearly every free second since Tuesday practicing bass. Jaysen, the guitarist from the band I used to be in, called me early this week and asked if I’d fill in on bass for a show on Friday because their bassist was out of town. I said O.K. and then set to work learning the five songs for the show.
